Proto Pipe Classic

I used to work at a head shop. We always had at least one Proto Pipe on display, but I never pulled the trigger. I regret that, immensely. I ended up with a knockoff, but it just isn't the same. Can't be certain what you're smoking out of with a piece like that. I am so excited to get my real, handmade Proto Pipe! I know they're quality. I can hardly wait to break it in! I check back periodically, just in case they move up the shipping date. ;)

After 50 years I have finally found a decent pipe. This is a well thought out piece of equipment that always comes through. It feels substantial in your hand and the function of it, which must be the final arbiter, is unmatched by any ceramic or wood pipe I have used in 50+ years. This is a very satisfied customer even if it took forever to arrive!

I got my pipe in 1969. I took it with me to Woodstock in 1969. This pipe was used A LOT at woodstock. And is still being used all these years later. This pipe still smokes as good as the day it was bought. Oh and still looks the same other then a few scratches. I still have all the pieces. I'm going to buy another in a day or 2 so i can retire this 1. Hats off to the maker of this pipe. Folks this pipe does it all but drive ya to work. And I've saved a ton of $ because i don't buy papers. Thanks for all the happy times and memories.

I had no idea! This pipe is truly an act of genius. The craftsmanship is absolutely evident in every aspect. From filling to smoking to cleaning the ProtoPipe is perfect. Thanks guys. I am truly amazed.

Pretty much my favorite “device” 100 % not made of cheap brass lamp Parts and sooo F’n cool that my buddy who owned the 1st one I ever saw got nabbed with his in small town Wisconsin circa 1978 and actually talked the cop into giving it back to him. He accomplished that by claiming it belonged to his older brother, who would “absolutely kill me” if it not returned. Cop was like “yeah I could see how he might” and then returned it ( but not the bag of weed). Testimonial enough! Sadly, I visited several head shops today looking for one of these and found nothing but overly complex but inefficiently designed glass devices and other products I couldn’t even figure out in terms of function. I think our millennial friends have lost the chase. Thank god Proto pipe still exists in an otherwise cruel and uncaring world of form over function

Bought my first one at Ozzfest,jumped down to the expensive seats and blended in was toking it and the person next to me asked to hit it so I said give me your beer 😁and you can hit it bam good deal well 20 minutes later someone is tapping me on the shoulder as I’m getting in real good with this hottie and he says hey is this yours I’m like no leave me alone he’s like no dude here’s your pipe I turn and look and I’m like holy shit where did you get that (totally forgot I passed it to the dude next to me) he says I’m sitting way down there at the end of the row and it got passed all the way down everyone hit it and when it got to me it’s empty ! I look at him excitedly and tell him no no it’s never empty I proceeded to show him the stash spot and packed him a fresh bowl which he took back to his seat asnd had it passed back via the row in front of me Ha about 40 people hit that muthafucka and I got passé a few beers and $20 for my troubles not bad considering I snuck into those seats and couldn’t leave to get beer since I didn’t have a ticket everyone loved the protopipe A few years later I got pulled over because of som jerkoff in my truck and it got confiscated by the police ☹️

Bought mine at the Lions Lair in LA. 1979 I still have it, I'm so happy you guys are running things again. That pipe went to every concert I've ever been to. Easy to stash holds allot of pot. Thanks for 42 years of dependability.

It was around 1985 or 1986 I went to Happy trails in Phoenix,Az walk in the Head shop and it caught in the corner of my eye shines and calling my name. I couldn’t help myself I had to have it,couldn’t wait to get home and try it out loaded it took my first hit bam I was in la la land best hit of all time.thanks for the blast from the last.
