Proto Pipe Classic

Having wanted one of these for the last 30 years I finally got around to purchasing one. I decided on the classic because I love tried and tested items that have been really well constructed and pass the test of time. I’m in Australia and the speed of standard delivery was amazing. The quality of the product is beyond amazing. The construction is perfect. As an object in its own right it’s good enough but on top of that it performs its purpose perfectly.

I was eighteen fresh out of high school working at a lumberyard. This cool soul brother had a pipe he wanted to get high with so we snuck behind the cabinets and pink insulation. He SAID his dad made this thing at his machine shop… i loved it! It was ergonomic in my hand like a Bic lighter, Swiss Army knife… I wanted to steal it but we talked so much about it, so ya know… then decades went by and about in 2020 I saw this little girl online! WTF? Well a guy has so many gadgets and frills that keep a dude broke, so I used restraint. In 2024 I watched a YouTube on the brother that created it and wanted it bad! I learned he pulled his brother into the business to help make them with him. I love family businesses and thought it would be cool for a 4:20 holiday to have in April. Got it just in time and exactly like it should be. I bought the original like that kid made back in the seventies. This thing works like poetry in motion! Perfect size! These guy’s were SO on top of this sale, I got like five or six emails to make me feel like a Boss and I really appreciate their old school application as American business Titans of the Cannabis Culture. I want to chief it up with these two brothers in their museum and relive some eighties memories. I don’t know what happened to my old friend at Furrow’s building and lumber, but I do know his dad didn’t make this in Texas, it was made in California! I am a very heavy smoker it is very very well built but it is not built for the heavy smoker if y'all could work on that that would be greatly appreciated other than that no complaints

Almost 10 years ago the Po-po confiscated my 1st classic. I've had mostly glass one-hitters since then. Many broke but they're cheap. Cleaning any of them can be a chore and it's always at the worst time. I missed the simplicity of cleaning these and I decided to get another. As luck would have it, the 4/20 discount was going on. I considered trying another version but decided to stick with my proven tool. Couldn't be happier.

I love this pipe. It's everything it was advertised as. The ease of cleaning it is awesome and the craftsmanship is beautiful. Thank you for an heirloom that I can assure you will be handed down and enjoyed for years to come.

Amazing pipe and great customer service! My Dad bought one and I had to have one as shortly after, will be ordering one for my brother as well here soon. I can't get over how useful and well made everything is on this pipe. Thank you all so much!!

This is my 2nd Proto Pipe. My first was purchased in 1977 from a shop in Omaha, NE. The Proto Pipe has been my favorite all through the years since my college days in Omaha. Although I lost the poker, my original Proto Pipe is still functional. However, it was time to get a new one. The original has a leather grip around the bowl to prevent burning my fingers. I do like the larger bowl of the new Proto Pipe Classic and the shiny appearance of this latest model. Thank you for a great product and for the exceptional engineering of the Proto Pipe.

As expected, just like the old one I still have only new. Love it. I do wish they offered the old style shallower bowl option but . . . Love it.
