Recipe: Spooky Cannabis-Infused Bloody Mary’s

Feel the buzz of this cannabis-infused bloody mary.

The Bloody Mary is truly a delicacy, and to make it even more special, we’ve decided to spice things up a bit. No, not with Tobasco sauce, but with cannabis oil to boost the experience.

Bloody Mary’s are even known to cure hangovers, as is cannabis, so why not mix the two on your lazy Sunday? With help from a cannabis tincture, you can infuse THC or CBD into any beverage. And to make it all the more authentic, we’ve given you a spooky and delicious recipe to make cannabis-infused blood mary’s from your home.

The process is incredibly easy. The only challenging part is creating your own cannabis oil, which can take up to 10-14 days. You can always purchase your own cannabis oil and get it delivered to your home with websites like Eaze, but just in case you want to get extra crafty, we’ve included a step-by-step process on how to make your own cannabis oil.

How To Make Cannabis Oil

This is a tedious process, but we promise it’s worth it in the end. First, you want to start by ensuring you have the right ingredients, which are 22 grams of your favorite weed (ground) and 90ml of high-proof vodka. The vodka must be at least 50% alcohol.

Now that you’re ready to get started, you must decarb your weed. For this process, set your oven to 100-110°C and place your ground herb in for about an hour. Your kitchen will dank, so do this in a home where marijuana is welcomed.

You’ll know the weed is ready once it crumbles in your fingers. Take the weed out of the oven and crumble it into some water. Soak the weed inside the water for about 12 hours; this will remove most impurities.

Proceed by pouring out the excess water and placing the weed powder into a container with a lid. Pour the vodka into the container. Close the container and store the mixture in a cool, dark place for 10-14 days. Check-in on the mixture once a day and shake it up to ensure it’s properly combined.

After 10-14 days, filter the mix through a cheesecloth or coffee filter. Do this as many times as necessary until your final product is a clear and thick liquid.

Start by placing your cannabis oil, Worcester sauce, tomato juice, lemon juice, and Tabasco into a shaker, then shake what your mama gave you.

And just like that, it’s done! Pour your beverage into a glass with a lemon peel, spices, celery, and voila. Your very own cannabis-infused bloody mary. If you want to get fancier, wet the rim of your glass and place it upside down onto a plate of salt for an extra kick.
