Be prepared if you experience any of these the next time you try D8. Created with Bay Smokes.

Have you ever tried Delta 8 THC? This wonderful substance is capable of long-lasting and potent effects that are very interesting in nature and strength but let you stay in your senses.

Let’s check out what adverse reactions D8 products can have on your mind and body.

Take a glance at the assortment of Delta 8 products that Bay Smokes has in store for you. You will find literally any product you want; there are vapes, moon rocks, asteroids, edibles, tinctures, and many more!

What Is Delta 8

Delta 8 THC is a minor cannabinoid, which means it is naturally present in the plant but at very low levels. To produce D8, Bay Smokes, and many other producers use hemp-derived CBD to synthesize Delta 8 through isomerization.

This process is possible due to the similarity of these chemical compounds, which can be altered with solvents to achieve potent and quick-acting Delta 8. These products are federally legal since they come from hemp and contain less than 0.3% of Delta 9 THC.

Delta 8 produces milder, more controlled, and longer-lasting effects when compared to those traditionally caused by Delta 9 THC. This is positive because you get to experience the whole set of therapeutic and recreational effects and benefits, minus the mind-bogging high of cannabis.

Delta 8 Effects

As with other substances, the effects, benefits, and side effects that we will describe can and will probably change from person to person. There is also a ton of research to pinpoint further the impact that D8 has on the human body.

Generally speaking, Delta 8 THC has the power to relax, decompress, relieve pain and anxiety, and motivate both mind and body. Truthfully, you will have a milder, yet long-lasting, approach to what Delta 9 THC normally causes.

As such, you will feel a slight head rush and an elevated mind and body connection.

Delta 8 Side Effects

Even though we know quite a lot about the benefits and side effects of Delta 8 THC and other cannabinoids, there is still a lot of research and studies.

However, there’s enough information to understand what this substance may cause you when consumed frequently.

Anxiety & Paranoia

It’s pretty complex because Delta 8 has the capacity and power to relieve symptoms of anxiety and stress, but if abused can cause quite the contrary.

When you take too much Delta 8 THC, you can potentially experience feelings of paranoia and anxiety; what a bummer.

Many stoners are familiar with these feelings and manage to calm their minds or simply accept them.

However, these feelings are uncomfortable, and many prefer to stop consuming because of their existence or possibility.

Dry Mouth

The famous “cottonmouth” that many smokers and consumers get may be very uncomfortable. This happens because the cannabinoids stick to receptors in your mouth which inhibits or slows saliva production.

Cottonmouth is an uncomfortable symptom that may arise but is not necessarily something to worry about; it will pass and can be managed easily.

Take some sips of water. It is always wise to rehydrate.

Red Eyes

A similar effect to that described above happens to consumers’ eyes when they take too much Delta 8 THC. Stoners become accustomed to squinty eyes that become dry and turn red, but apart from mild distress, there is nothing to worry about.

Apart from gentle discomfort, the only downside is how obvious or evident it may become that you are under the influence of cannabis. As such, keep this into consideration and take your doses slow and smart.

How To Deal With Them

The first thing to consider when dealing with side effects caused by hemp or cannabis-derived products is that this is temporary.

Even though you may feel that these adverse, uncomfortable effects may last for a while, consider your perception of time is altered, and they will pass!

You want to take your time, drink some water, stay calm, and think happy thoughts. You may experience tachycardia and paranoia, which will only make you feel more uneasy. I recommend you practice breathing exercises, some mindfulness or meditation, and if you need it take a nap.

In summary, when taking cannabinoids, you must remember that what you are feeling is temporary and will pass with time, patience, a little assistance from rest or sleep, and water. If possible, take a nap, but always consider that you must calm your nerves or you will worsen your condition.
