Proto Voyager

This has so many memories. It's the best working pipe ever, indestructible, and the Swiss army knife of pipes. Can't say enough for it. And it's fun to play with afterwards like a puzzle. Bought one recently after having lost mine at the beach long ago and glad I did. There are alot of imitators and I looked at them but they cheap junk that's not worth buying. Glad for the old school dude who thought this up deserves somthing

To the Consumer: This pipe is amazing. You can feel the quality in your hand when you hold it, by the way it burns, and the smooth draw when you inhale. Got this for my boyfriend’s 30th and I am optimistic that it will last at least another 30 years. To the Manufacturer: This pipe is amazing. What are your plans, if any, for an upgraded pipe? There’s naught to complain about the Voyager, but what else could be added? Maybe a striker piece for an ultimate all-in-one utility pipe: The Stargazer ✨ Then I can ditch my lighters and become the ultimate stoner.

My Voyager just came in and the design is impeccable. The stash container fits the bowl perfectly so you can use it to tamp a bowl down when you need to. It's designed to make any problem you might have when smoking have an answer on the pipe itself.

Glass is for show. Protopipes are for smoking. If the little rez door is stuck tho, hold that lighter on it until it loosens . Don’t attempt to pry it with a coin. Trust my fingernail.. I mean it though, best pipe you’ll ever buy. I’m about to order my second. And only because I was so pleased with my first purchase, I had to have the fancy rocket. Highly recommend

Wow. Precision Engineering. My out the house list is now, keys, wallet, voyager, leatherman, phone. As someone who has a multi tool, this pipe makes sense to me. I can grind and store about 2 grams of flower into the chamber, using the back side of the poke as a tamper, then I use the poke to mine some out when I need a puff. Rolling still has a place in my life, but for a quick sip throughout the day 10/10. High quality, need to purchase another to future-proof, though I probably won’t have to break it out for another 30 years.

While the pipe is still very close the the ones I used to buy, the quality, fit and finish are not the same. When I first found them online I was overjoyed. I ordered 4 just to make sur I hade enough to last me. One of the first pipes I used had the mouthpiece tube break off. I contacted them and they were going to send me a replacement tube. It took a while but they ended up replacing the whole pipe. I was happy. The pipe I am currently using, the top is misaligned, not a real big issue but still, a $90 pipe! Maybe it's just me but I don't remember the brass with a texture like these. I thought they were nice and smooth, almost as if they had been polished. Now the tube for the poker just fell out! They are quickly loosing my admiration for this product. Just as a reference, I have been using Protopipes since the mid 1970's so it's not like I am new to their product.

I've been amassing a nice collection of pipes. I've got the Genius, Køl, chiller pipes, glass etc. I kept reading about the Proto Pipe and both wanted one and was curious how it would stand up. Yesterday I received the Voyager. I was surprised at how smooth and potent my smoking experience was. I figured the small bowl and compact size would translate to a short, harsh experience. Wrong on both accounts. Tamped down the bowl with the stash tube, and had some of the best smoking experiences of my life. Smooth from start to finish. Potent: one bowl got me nicely stoned. Two bowls got me VERY nicely stoned. With a good quality pipe, you need less herb to get you where you want to be. This is a finely crafted piece of art, informed by over a half century of experience and experimentation. Some pipes you smoke, others you develop a relation with. I look forward to many years learning this pipe. Worth the price? Definitely. Worth the wait for an heirloom quality, handcrafted pipe? Of course! What's three months for a lifetime of satisfaction?

The title says it all. This is a great design and has everything that you would need. I plan to use this while skiing and cannot wait. Yes, it did take a couple of months to receive but would say it was worth it. I liked mine so much that immediately bought two more for some friends.

I was turned onto Proto by a close friend and mentor, had his confiscated by customs after almost 15 years of puffing heartily and happily. I ended up purchasing a Proto Classic shortly after I knew the product, it is currently with my ex-girlfriend. Having made do with subpar to downright piss poor pipe craftsmanship for the next good while I was thrilled to find the Proto Rocket Voyager, the Quartet legacy piece, was being made and sold to those who've waited with their ears to the Earth. After a healthy waiting period I've now been blessed enough to call the Voyager my daily smoker, unlike any other. Unparalleled in function and form. The tar trap, new and improved with a notched slide, is a breeze to clean, where the Proto Classic struggled the Voyager soars. It's virtually odorless, a simple and unassuming brass instrument no bigger than the lighter with which it's lit, to the untrained or indivulgent eye it's a mystery that raises no faulty alarm bells. The addition of the crescent cutout on the bowl's lid is Perfect. allows for controlled access to the herb within, tailoring the length and strength of your puff down to the very wisps once lost. It also acts as a surprisingly useful pare of bud sheers. If you're an avid daily partaker the pod holds the perfect portion of grass for a day's travels. If your tollarence is higher than most, grind the pot and stuff the pod, if you puff more sparingly 6 or 7 unbroken budlets is more than enough to sip on throughout the day.

Just received my voyager and it's amazing! I can see the top quality craftsmanship at a glance, and I love to support American made products. Will be recommending to all my friends! You guys rock. :)
