Proto Pipe Highbrid

Had 1 many years ago in the 80’s/90’s. These are still the best pipes ever made. Always had nothing but good experiences with my proto. Bought 2, one left hand (for wife), 1 right hand (for me). Had to give up “partaking” for a while because of high risk jobs, but bought 2 while they are available and looking forward to retirement. Can’t wait to shove this job and let my freak flag fly again. Thanks for all the past experiences and the future ones too.

I've used these almost exclusively for the last 35 years. I lose one, I get another. Period. I spend a lot of time in the backcountry and nothing is more bombproof and offers such self-contained, no-mess/no odor perfection for everything you need. The knurled poker is a great update, as getting those out (after they inevitably got bent) could be tough. So glad to see them in production again. A few more years and I would have bought the design myself!

I’m 50 years old and I had one of these when I was teenager. I had it for 15 years before I lost it. Even back then they were a little over $40. A lot of money to a teenager in the late 80’s. It was worth every penny back then and worth every dollar now. I just got my new one and have been enjoying it all day. I forgot how darn handy this thing is. The top cap is perfectly machined to snuff your smoke instantly. The stash tube will hold like 4 to 5 bowls worth, depending on how you pack it in. The poker is fits really well with the stash tube. They both end up holding each other in, which works out great. They never get loose. Fits in your pocket like an old friend, bowl and stash tube filled up, always ready to go. I know it seems like a lot of money, but if you treat this thing right (heck, even half-heartedly taking care of it will work) it’ll last forever. It’s definitely worth the wait. Me and my new little buddy are going to have a lot of good times in the future. Thank everyone at Proto Pipe!

Way overpriced ridiculous waiting time. Do yourself a favor go to test and get 4 for the price of one

Lost one or two Proto Pipes then lost 2 more in an arson fire in Medford, Oregon. That really pissed me off, I also lost everything I owned in my pad. Three older people died in the park & the arsonist only got 13 years in jail. For me and everyone else, they should have killed for what they did. Got one Proto Pipe now but need a backup plan & will one more in near future. Proto Pipe, for me, best pipe in the world. If you snooze you loose, I rest my case. Thank you Proto Pipe for all you do.

I was an early dealer for you guys. I bought one of the earlier models, smaller leather wrapped bowl, no door, from a head shop in San Jose in the mid 70's, then became a dealerunder my company name, 'Cosmic Creations', in '77 after moving to San Francisco. I only bought a dozen or so at a time, but sold 100's over the years into the '90's, even stocked spare parts. You sent me an unstamped 'proto type' Deluxe model for testing and review before release. Thank you, I felt so privileged. I even bought a few orders after I moved to where I live now in Morro Bay, CA. which was in '83. Haven't ordered since the '90's and kinda wondered what ever happened to you guys. I see knock offs now and then in smoke shops, but haven't seen yours in years. Good to see you're still around. Still have 4 or 5 around the house and all still in working condition, you just gotta know how to handle them, alcohol is the key to cleaning and frequent.

I'm truly pleased with the protopipe. It's convenient and gives the best smoke for the smokee. Thank you for the best pipe I've ever owned.

I was first introduced to the Swiss Army knife of pipes in 1988. My brother offered me to smoke off his. I was instantly hooked at the self contained convenience. Handy, durable, and sealable (no ash crumbs dumping everywhere). These are hands down the BEST carry pipe ever!!! I’ll never be without mine!!!

I lost my original PP from 1984 bought in Northern California. Found this couldn’t believe I could get a new one. The pipe is as good as I remember it . Love this pipe, hits great stores your stash and has a lid and poker. Excellent pipe . I will pass this pipe down to my family when the time comes.
