The Crypto Cannabis Club is expected to launch the very first cannabis brand created by an NFT community.
If you’re a crypto fiend or avid NFT buyer, chances are you’ve heard of Crypto Cannabis Club, already holding over 21,000 members on Discord in less than a year. But, in a first-ever endeavor, Crypto Cannabis Club will launch an IRL cannabis brand that’s slated to arrive next month.
In order to make the launch a reality, the NFT collection and Metaverse community teamed up with cannabis e-commerce platform CampNova, which will distribute Crypto Cannabis Club’s unique premium, packaged cannabis flower, according to Forbes. The products will be available only to consumers in California, and you don’t have to have a Crypto Cannabis Club NFT to purchase the herb.
That said, the collection is offering a hefty discount to those who own an NFT from the collection, called an NFToker. The NFToker collection was made available in August 2021 and offered 10,000 unique pieces, most of which go for a whopping $600 when converted. These NFTs come with benefits that give owners first access to new launches and discounts on products like the forthcoming cannabis line.

Come launch time in March, Forbes notes we should see the product line come with 1/8th ounce packages of premium dried flower along with custom artwork from the Crypto Cannabis Club. It’s said that out of the total production, three packages will include your very own NFToker NFT.
Crypto Cannabis Club CEO Ryan Hunter spoke with Jackie Bryant from Forbes about the new cannabis products, noting that it all began with support from big industry players like former NFL star and cannabis advocate Ricky Williams.
Hunter said that Williams was an “early and ongoing supporter” of the Crypto Cannabis Club community. When it came time for Williams to launch Highsman, his own cannabis brand, Hunter and his team traveled down to the Planet 13 Orange County location to support the launch.

Hunter explained that it’s not a big surprise that people into crypto, gaming, and NFTs are also frequent cannabis users.
He hit Forbes with the facts, noting that “60% of [the Crypto Cannabis Club] community members purchase cannabis monthly and the other roughly 40% purchase cannabis weekly.”
Besides partnering with staple players like Highsman, Crytpo Cannabis Club also teamed up with other premium cannabis brands like Old Pal, Dr. Dabber, Higher Standards, King Palm, Marley Naturals, and Vibes Papers.
