FaZe Rain's RCVRY brand stems from the YouTuber's personal experiences with the therapeutic properties of cannabis.
Canadian YouTuber and gamer Nordan Shat, aka, FaZe Rain, recently announced the launch of his cannabis brand, RCVRY.
Known for his many YouTube videos, vlogs, and livestreams, FaZe Rain is also co-founder of the esports and entertainment organization, FaZe Clan. Now, he’s branching out into cannabis with a brand that’s close to his heart.
“When I started my journey with cannabis back in 2015, I had very little knowledge of the different strains and experiences available to consumers,” said Rain in a press release.
But, as he learned more about the legal cannabis space, he “saw a need to further the potential of the industry by helping to advance the mainstream acceptance of cannabis,” added Rain.
RCVRY recently launched under The Parent Company, Jay-Z’s vertically integrated cannabis company that houses other brands like:
Troy Datcher, Chief Executive Officer of The Parent Company, stated how partnering with FaZe Rain and the RCVRY team represents “a prime opportunity to unlock the synergy between gaming and cannabis communities.”
While he continues optimizing The Parent Company‘s portfolio of the highest quality and leading brands, Datcher firmly believes that the new “partnership with RCVRY is another strong addition to our roster.”
The goal behind creating RCVRY was to help push new opinions and views on cannabis. Besides that, each flower selection is only of the highest quality, and RCVRY is proud to grow the cleanest cannabis possible.
The brand name RCVRY stems from Rain‘s personal experiences with recovering from severe nerve damage. During that time, he looked to cannabis as a healing aid for his physical and mental health.
For that reason, RCVRY is much more than your average cannabis brand; it’s a brand created to support lifestyles focused on wellness and creativity.
So far, RCVRY has launched one limited strain in jars of eighths dubbed Rainz Runtz, with a berry-like smell and genetics to that of Zkittles and Gelato phenotypes. Rainz Runtz was hand-picked by the brand’s team and in partnership with TPCO.
So far, RCVRY is only available at Calma dispensary in West Hollywood (1155 N La Brea Ave). If you’re looking to get your hands on some RCVRY or want to meet the team behind the brand, head down to Calma this Saturday, September 17, and get a chance to meet FaZe Rain and his team from 1:00-4:00 pm.
