One of our favorite cannabis beverage companies, Keef Brands, announced that it’s expanding operations into Canada. Keef has been in the canna game for over a decade now, as the company launched in 2010 in Colorado.

According to a press release, the launch into Canada resulted from Keef’s partnership with fellow cannabis beverage company BevCanna, which now acts as the exclusive licensee, manufacturer, and distribution partner for Keef’s product rollout up north.

It wasn’t until January 2020 that Canada was allowed to legally produce and sell edibles, including cannabis beverages, even though the country had adopted recreational legalization two years before. That didn’t stop companies from moving into the cannabis beverage sector. As per data from Hifyre, cannabis drinks made up roughly 7.3% of all cannabis products sold in the third quarter of 2021.

Leading companies like Keef not only want to take part in the booming Canadian market but extend its name as a North American leader for all things drinkable cannabis.

The first line from Keef to be available in Canada will be its Classic Sodas, which carry a variety of distinct and award-winning flavors like Bubba Kush Root Beer, Original Cola, and Orange Kush.
