Thinking about getting a vape?
The Pax 3 has a reputation for being the best portable vape on the market. Then again, so does the DaVinci IQ. Both have stellar reviews, amazing features, and a revolutionary design. Also, each vape uses the conduction method of heating your herbs, making them affordable and user-friendly. So how do you decide which vaporizer is best for you? Considering cannabis consumers have their own unique wants and needs, we can’t tell you. But we can help you figure it out.
As can be seen, the Pax 3 features a stylish and attractive design. For consumers who desire a vaporizer that they can show off, the Pax 3, aka the Apple of Vaporizers, is sure to make your friends jealous. Even better, you can choose between two finishes—gloss and matte—which each come in four beautiful colors such as rose gold, teal, and more. The Pax 3 is also constructed of medical-grade materials from top to bottom, including an aluminum body, a stainless steel air path, and silicone mouthpieces.
As for the DaVinci IQ, this vaporizer features a classy and clever design. Although it doesn’t come in as many colors as the Pax 3, just three to be exact, the DaVinci IQ combines the use of zirconia and ceramic, which guarantee even heat distribution. And thanks to the DaVinci IQ’s zirconia mouthpiece, you get cooler, more flavorful draws and a better experience overall.
As far as design and build quality goes, the Pax 3 and the DaVinci IQ are each pocket-portable and relatively discreet. That makes them convenient for carrying around and vaping on-the-go. And since they’re both small in size, each is comfortable to hold onto regardless of whether the session is short or lengthy.
Understandably, the majority of consumers care most about how well a vaporizer can perform and how easy, or how hard, it is to use. The Pax 3 and the DaVinci IQ are each easy to load and operate, regardless of whether you’re a beginner or a vaping expert. But again, they don’t work the same way nor do they hold the same forms of cannabis.
The DaVinci IQ, pictured above, is made strictly for dry herbs. It’s not all that picky when it comes to how you grind your flower. As long as your bud is packed down tight in the chamber, you’re good to go. To enhance the flavor of your vapor, the IQ features a flavor chamber, which allows you to slide in an extra bud to make each draw that much tastier without even vaporizing it. The flavor chamber can also be used to store flower until it’s time to make the good ol’ switcharoo.
While the IQ can only hold dry herb, the Pax 3 is compatible with both flower and concentrates. In fact, aside from a full oven lid, the Pax 3 comes with a lid specially designed for cannabis extracts. But that’s not all. The Pax 3 even includes a half-oven lid, which is perfect for preserving your stash as it doesn’t call for lots of bud, making it ideal for solo sessions.
Between the Pax 3 and the DaVinci IQ, which has the best battery? The Pax 3 features a built-in 3500mah battery and so does the DaVinci IQ. Typically, with a 3500mah battery, you can get up to 1.5 hours of continuous use, which might not seem like a lot if you’re one to sit around vaping. But for on and off vaping, that’s pretty decent.
Unlike the DaVinci IQ, the Pax 3 includes a magnetic wireless charger. Connect it to the dead device, and it will juice back to life in under two hours. The DaVinci IQ, however, comes with a USB micro port and features a removable battery, making it easy to slide it out and charge away from the device. While the removable battery can last for roughly 1.5 hours, if it does die, the DaVinci IQ can take three to four hours to fully charge again.
The Pax 3 and the DaVinci IQ each offer control when it comes to temperature settings. Both vaporizers also feature a smartphone app. The DaVinci IQ, however, is a bit more customizable than the Pax 3, with temperatures ranging from as low as 230° to as high as 430°F. Not to mention, it automatically adjusts the temperature by the degree.
Using the DaVinci IQ’s smartphone app, consumers can choose from a variety of smart paths. With the help of the app, they can even adjust the temperature and keep it for the entire sesh. The app also allows users to glance at a handy graph to see what their current temperature setting is while the device is still in session.
The Pax 3 comes with an array of temperature settings as well. With or without the app, consumers can select between four adjustable temp modes, including Stealth, Boost, Flavor, and Efficiency. By using the Pax 3’s smartphone app, they can access a fifth setting.
It’s hard to say what vaporizer is the best between the Pax 3 and the DaVinci IQ. Each device has a lot to offer. All in all, you can’t go wrong with either one but, hopefully, by referring to this guide, you as the consumer can make the final call as to which vaporizer is the best fit for you.
