Meet the device that brings together the portability of a silicone pipe with the quality hits of a glass pipe.
You’re likely to find a silicone spoon pipe in every smoker’s arsenal. Eyce has made a name for crafting some of the best smoking gear using top-shelf materials.
In this Eyce Silicone Spoon Pipe review, we’ll tell you about one of my favorite spoon pipes from this brand.
This Eyce Silicone Spoon Pipe has a spoon width of one and a half inches. The pipe measures four inches long and one and a half inches wide. You will see a carb hole on the left side of the bowl, which will help you control the type of hits you get from the silicone pipe.
This device has an inlaid bowl made of borosilicate glass. Despite its borosilicate glass exterior, this bowl has a diameter of 0.85 inches. It can carry a fair amount of herb for an excellent session alone or with companions. The bowl is also detachable, making it easier to clean afterward.
The poker is tucked safely beneath the handle of the silicone pipe when you turn it over. A detachable silicone lid is attached to a discreet chamber at the bottom of the bowl. If you travel with herbs, this is the best place to store them when you don’t want to bring additional containers with you.
Lighting the bowl may have you scratching your head, wondering if it won’t cook up the treasure. But silicone, unlike glass, is a superb heat insulator, so there’s no need to worry.
You can use the Eyce Silicone Pipe like any other spoon pipe. Your herb should be finely ground (optional: insert a pipe filter in the bowl to filter out resin) and packed securely but not too tightly in the pipe bowl, and you’re done.
Lighting the herb and inhaling the smoke from the pipe takes just a few seconds. Put your thumb on the carb while holding the mouthpiece. Drain out the ashes from the bowl and fill another batch of your chosen herb if you need to add more.
The Eyce Spoon is simple to use. If you’re worried about dropping or shattering your glass piece, this is much safer thanks to its silicone body.
Furthermore, opening and closing the compartment beneath the bowl is a breeze. You do not have to be a surgeon to open the compartment and store or access your stash. It shuts firmly, preventing your herbs from slipping out.
To open the lid, gently lift it. Provided you don’t pack the compartment too tightly, you won’t have any difficulties opening it.
The pipe may seem small, but do not be fooled; this spoon pipe packs a punch. It provides satisfying one-hitter puffs (if a pipe screen is used) or extended shared sessions with companions.
You get the pure flavor of your herb with this pipe. Eyce did an excellent job with the material, and your smoke has no plastic or silicone flavor.
Silicone’s insulating properties in the cold season mean that you don’t have to worry about your lips getting chilly with the Eyce Silicone pipe. Unlike glass spoon pipes, this spoon pipe does not get cold quickly, and you can start smoking without having to warm up your pipe.
If you are used to the smooth, cold sensation of glass, using the silicone pipe may feel strange. Some people dislike the touch of silicone on their lips, but after using it a few times, you will become accustomed to it.
Maintaining Eyce silicone pipes is simple. Immediately after the pipe has cooled, remove the glass piece and place the silicone spoon inside the pipe. To eliminate residue and odor, you can use the Eyce Silicone Cleaner. Give your bowl a good soak under running water and scrub it thoroughly to remove all dirt and odor.
Alternatively, you can freeze it and allow the resin to harden and solidify. Then you whack the pipe with your hands to get the resin out. It is not advisable to soak the pipe in alcohol, only the glass bowl. Silicone takes on a dull, murky appearance when contacted with alcohol.
If the bowl has any herb particles, use the handy picking tool positioned beneath the stem to clean it. It can also be used to clear a blockage without interrupting your session. Place the poker tool below the pipe when you’re finished.
