Great plant that delivers on all promises. I was growing one specimen indoors in a 12 liter Air-Pot and a mix of Aldi soil and Plagron Batmix, and the results were like on all the photos - one phantastic gelato. The colas of the Gelato are só dense however, that one really has to pay attention to rot when the colas start to mature, also indoors. Admittedly, I probably made some beginner's mistakes. First of all, for reasons beyond our control, I hadn't kept a growing log, so I couldn't be sure exactly when harvest was due; I probably left the colas on the plant for too long. I did check the trichomes with the microscope though, and decided to wait a couple of days longer, because they were still very transparent. I watered the plant profusely with Alga Bloom in the evening to replenish nutrients used in the light period. Later, I learned that watering at the start of the light period is preferred to prevent moisture problems; I would definitely recommend this for the Gelato. Also, the weather outside changed for a couple of days, with humidity levels over 80% (around 65% indoors). In the meantime, the plant was probably already developing sign of illness, which I mistook for natural aging: nice yellowing and browning on the fan leaves. As the plant seemed perfectly healthy otherwise, I wasn't worried. A couple of days later I noticed that the small leaves sticking out of the top cola were crumpling. I mistakenly assumed that this was caused by excessive ventilation/lighting. When I subsequently noticed the mould in the top cola, it quickly became clear that it was too late for the 5 topmost colas: they'd already been eaten away from the inside and little could be saved. Luckily, the eight or so colas that survived the massacre, seem to deliver on every aspect mentioned in the specs! We'll see in a couple of weeks after drying. Thanks RQS for this wonderful plant!

The Plant grew wider than other strains and gains not so much height in comparison to royal critical for example. Buds are at usuall size and the smell is great.

Toutes les graines ont germé 4/4. Récolte de 10 g par plant (pots de 5 l). Super goût et excellent effet ! J'en ai déjà racheté !
