Reba McEntire Caught In CBD Rumor With Garth Brooks

Country singer-songwriter and actor Reba McEntire seems to have caught herself in another rumor alongside country star Garth Brooks. Allegedly, McEntire invested in CBD and shared products with Brooks. 

A couple of years ago, McEntire spoke with PrideSource about a story that was getting some attention, both positive and negative. McEntire explained how someone had wrongly claimed she’d bought a CBD “store or company or something,” said the songwriter. 

Wanting to know where the story came from, McEntire opened up and informed PrideSource that the news wasn’t true; she did not invest in CBD products. More specifically, she said, “Well, I’ve never done that.” 

Her response seemed a tad upset but more on the surprised side, wondering how such a specific rumor could begin. McEntire added that people reading the rumors were upset to hear them. The country musician explained the article in question, which names many “very famous entertainers” that “turned to CBD,” including country singer Garth Brooks.

Upset about the rumor, McEntire concluded, “I don’t see how they can get away with that,” regarding the false rumors spread about her sharing CBD gummies with Brooks. Although McEntire isn’t actually getting into the CBD game, there’s still a reason why her name has been dragged through articles on the subject.

In recent news, Reba McEntire was seen in a video describing COVID-19 symptoms, which trolls got ahold of and edited to make it appear like she was promoting CBD and its benefits, which was later debunked. Although McEntire has shared the truth and debunked these rumors, fans still talk about her association with the non-psychoactive cannabinoid.

Fans are also connecting McEntire’s alleged “love for CBD” to other celebrities, especially celebrity fashion stylists. The fashion community is raving about CBD and its benefits for their clients.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBD has been used in the fashion industry since it began appearing worldwide a few years back. Celebrity stylists will spend the year stocking up on CBD products to give their clients when award season rolls around.

According to THR, celebrities like Mandy Moore and Michelle Willaims often use a topical CBD cream on their feet about half an hour before slipping into tight award shoes. As we know, there are countless kinds of CBD products on the market, but the fashion industry seems to adore CBD feet cream. 

Daniel Martin, Meghan Markle’s makeup artist, told The Hollywood Reporter that his clients feel the “immediacy” of what CBD does on their feet before big nights.
