Lil Kim’s ‘Aphrodisiak’ Product Line Is Coming To California This April

Designer cannabis strains, anyone? Get your hands on the rapper's new line this 4/20.

Rapper, icon, and entrepreneur Lil Kim just announced her new adult-use cannabis brand is set to launch in California this April.

The brand has been in the works for quite some time. But, finally, Lil Kim spoke with our friends at Leafly to discuss the new brand, where it’s launching, and what it means to her.

Kim is partnering with superbad inc. and CampNova for the new product line, dubbed Aphrodisiak. She first announced the brand in October 2021 alongside the partners who’ve been working hard to ensure the forthcoming drop will be as dope as Ms. Kim herself.

For starters, the Aphrodisiak product line with designers strains will launch in April throughout California. Not long after, the products should head over to other dispensaries in Michigan, New Jersey, and New York. Kim has made it clear that she’s closely worked with the brand to ensure it’s a pure reflection of her badass self, over-the-top fashion, and raw passion.

With over 25 years of experience in the music industry, Kim has been a household name for two decades solely because of her talent, skill, and dedication to her many crafts. She hopes the brand will embody that same relentlessness she’s presented her entire career.

“I test my product. I tested this, and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, this is that gas,'” Kim said in a press announcement last year regarding Aphrodisiak, reports Leafly. The first dispensary to receive the Aphrodisiak product line will be California’s Pineapple Express Hollywood, owned by no other than rapper, entrepreneur, and cannabis enthusiast 2 Chainz.

Carlos Dew, Aphrodisiak’s partner from superbad inc., says the Pineapple Express Hollywood dispensary was the perfect place that “reflected [Kim] being an icon,” seeing as it’s a new and modern storefront owned by a fellow hip-hop creator.

Kim takes great pride in being one of the first women celebrities of color to launch her own cannabis line, and a move like this comes with great responsibility to set the standard for other like-minded women in entertainment who wish to roll out similar ventures.

So, you can trust that the designer strains, edibles, and other products from Aphrodisiak will represent Lil Kim and the future of women in weed. We’ll just have to wait until 4/20 in California to get our hands on the new goods.
