Ye is expected to drop 'DONDA 2' later this month alongside familiar names.
Kanye West has gone through the wringer since releasing his 10th studio album. It’s been almost six months since the producer/songwriter dropped his highly anticipated tribute record ‘DONDA‘ back in August, and now, he’s on track to release ‘DONDA 2’ on February 22, 2022.
Ye recently took to Instagram to post about the forthcoming album and its list of collaborators, and we’re excited to see some familiar faces hop on the upcoming record. The post was a screenshot from the account Our Generation Music and sees what commentators are calling the “hardest pic of 2022.”
The picture does go pretty hard, considering Kanye is in his favorite outfit (a black ensemble with a studded face covering). Not to mention Baby Keem softly glaring at the camera, Drake’s usual hand signs covering his face, Yung Lean peaking in the background, and Travis Scott trying to make his way in.

The picture was taken by photographer Samuel Alemayehu and also captured another photographer, Rayscorruptedmind, hanging out in the background. So far, we should expect names like Drake, Yung Lean, Baby Keem, and Travis Scott to feature on DONDA 2, hopefully dropping this month.
There’s no saying if Ye will keep his word and release the album on its expected date, especially having gone through a pretty turbulent last six months that all started with Travis Scott’s deadly Astroworld festival in November. All seems good and well between the two recording artists now, but Ye’s most recent drama sees him dragging ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

We have high expectations for Ye’s forthcoming album solely because this is his official divorce project and will most likely shed light on more personal matters. In other news, Ye’s been in some hot water recently after he called out his ex-wife for letting their oldest daughter, North West, post on the social media platform TikTok.
There’s been popcorn-worthy back-and-forth social media feuds between Ye and Kardashian throughout the past week, and if the drama in the air is reflected on ‘DONDA 2,’ then we’re definitely in for a treat. Catch the new album (hopefully) on February 22, 2022, on all digital streaming platforms.
