A Toronto Nightclub Recently Celebrated The Culture Of Cannabis In One Exciting Evening

The kind Winter Fair strives to intersect cannabis, culture, and kindness.

A trippy and exciting event took place at a Toronto nightclub on Wednesday, and it was brought to life with a hazy funhouse complete with a circus performance and interpretation of Alice in Wonderland

Canada’s largest weed culture party is called “The kind Winter Fair,” presented by Canna Cabana and Kolab Project. According to Cision Newswire, on Wednesday evening, The kind Winter Fair turned REBEL nightclub into a choose your cannabis adventure. All attendees were asked for proof of full vaccination upon entry.

Kind is Canada’s leading cannabis magazine, featuring weed, arts, food health, travel, and more. The magazine prints four editions every year, which sums up to 130,000 copies distributed throughout the country to more than 550 legal cannabis retailers. Speaking on The kind Winter Fair, Joshua Nagel, kind founder and publisher, noted in a press release that his company’s mission has always been to help push “the intersection of cannabis, culture, and kindness.” He said his magazine is proud to shine a light on the best people and experiences the cannabis industry offers.

The company also hosts the kind Awards, a celebration of cannabis culture and industry players selected by 233 budtenders across Canada. For this year’s 2021 kind Awards, Nagel said the industry needed a “scorecard determined by budtenders on the frontlines, not brand bucks.”

There was a jam-packed list of categories and winners for the awards this year; leading the way was Caramel Cannabis, which took home Brand of the Year, Craft Brand of the Year, Best Indica Flower, and Best Sativa Pre Roll.

The staff at kind voted on additional award categories like kindest Cannabis Influencer. A familiar face won this award, none other than RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 star Laganja Estranja, who’s set up quite the name for herself, not only as a renowned drag queen but as a passionate cannabis enthusiast and advocate
