No hard feelings Nebraska, but where's the weed?
Legendary rapper and cannabis advocate Snoop Dogg is planning his next concert in a non-weed-friendly state. While this wouldn’t mean much on a regular day, the D-O double G will perform in Lincoln, Nebraska, on our favorite holiday, 4/20.
There’s no word on why Snoop wanted to be in Nebraska on the unofficial holiday celebrating marijuana. The announcement comes just a few weeks after Snoop took the stage alongside several other icons for the Super Bowl halftime show in Inglewood, California.
Snoop’s Nebraska concert at Pinnacle Bank Arena will also feature versatile recording artist Koe Wetzel who’s made a name for himself in Americana, rock, grunge, and country.
The pairing isn’t something you’d see every day, a country/rock artist touring with a rapper, but the plans to share the stage have been in the works for quite a while.

Last July, Wetzel hit up a Snoop Dogg concert and was invited to hang out backstage with the rapper. In that video, Snoop explains, “We’re trying to get on stage together,” turning over to Wetzel’s manager and saying, “go ahead and connect the dots.”
Well, it looks like those dots have been connected, and the Texas-hailing artist alongside Snoop will take the stage this 4/20 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tickets for “The 420 Special: Snoop Dogg With Koe Wetzel” are on sale now.
The event will also see Snoop Dogg living it up in two V.I.P. parties before and after the show on the arena property. According to sources, he might even perform a private DJ set.
