Snoop and Champ Medici (Cordell Broadus) join MOBLAND to launch weed farms in the metaverse.
Rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg is everywhere, launching his own operator bundle on Call of Duty, performing in Nebraska with Koe Wetzel, and probably indulging in some pungent green with each venture.
In the latest D-O-DOUBLE-G News, he and his son, Cordell Broadus, are joining forces and bringing digital cannabis to the metaverse.
According to a report from Benzinga, Snoop and his son, who also goes by the name Champ Medici, are partnering with mafia-themed metaverse company MOBLAND to bring cannabis cultivation to the online world.
The announcement was first made on MOBLAND’s Twitter, which touched on how it will also come with a limited collection of Snoop Dogg digital weed farms and exclusive content from Champ Medici.

Benzinga reports Broadus (Medici) explaining, “I saw my father play video games my whole life. Cannabis and game controllers live hand in hand with him, that’s why I think it’s no brainer to bring the metaverse and digital weed together.”
A recent press release notes MOBLAND co-founder Roy Liu breaking down three separate NFTs for the launch.
“NFT 1.0 is about individual character and item, NFT 2.0 is about land and real estate, NFT 3.0 is about business and utility on top of the land and real estate,” adding that the upcoming “grow to earn” feature within weed farms will be a part of the NFT 3.0 launch.
