Bob Marley’s Son, Rohan Marley, Will Launch New Cannabis Brand On 420

The luxury cannabis brand is a core representation of Rastafari heritage.

This 420 is definitely worth celebrating, and Bob Marley’s son Rohan Marley is helping us do that with his upcoming cannabis and CBD lifestyle brand, Lion Order.

The brand was created by Rohan Marley and a handful of international professional athletes, activists, and visionaries. The brand’s mission is to celebrate the foundation of Rastafari-cannabis culture and educate the consumer on living a holistic lifestyle with marijuana, notes a recent press release

Rohan’s new cannabis brand strives to marry Rastafari heritage with a luxury product look and feel in both the packaging and the strain’s quality. Each strain provided by Lion Oder falls in line with the standards of premium and high-quality cannabis flower: aroma, taste, aesthetic, stickiness, and efficacy.

These standards noted above have long been a staple to cannabis culture in Rastafari history, and Lion Order is proud to be one of the first cannabis brands to truly represent how far marijuana has come. It’s no secret that Rastafarians use cannabis to create unity amongst each other, allow for deeper understanding and raise consciousnesses, and Lion Order’s cannabis is sure to push that notion even further.

Rohan Marley announced the Lion Order brand on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, also known as 2.22.22. The number 2 has always played a special role in his life, as it was his football number when playing for the University of Miami with brand co-founders Warren Sapp, Ray Lewis, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

For Marley, he created Lion Order to represent “the Lion of Judah. The way of man, Strength, Power, Courage, Determination. Doing things the right way.” He hopes the brand will help kings and queens move “with dignity, self-respect and [want] to be a part of a movement and a lifestyle.”

Because cannabis has united people for generations, Marley hopes Lion Order will also help individuals come together “around a table, all different ethnicities, different religions, nations and have a real talk about life and love.”

Finally, Marley hopes the brand will unite people to come together and raise awareness for federal decriminalization or even legalization. The company’s cannabis strains are sourced from Michigan’s cannabis cup award-winning cultivator Heavyweight Heads.

Lion Order’s website is currently under construction; most likely, it’s preparing for the launch. Expect to see Lion Order products rolling out in Michigan and other territories this 420 (April 20, 2022).
