Magnolia’s sweetness finally marries the green allure.
Magnolia Bakery, the New York City landmark famed for its classic American desserts, is embarking on a trailblazing journey with a new twist to its repertoire: cannabis-infused edibles. The bakery has partnered with Incredibles, a respected name under the Green Thumb Industries, to infuse its iconic banana pudding and red velvet cupcakes with THC, bringing a contemporary edge to its timeless treats.
As per Sara Gramling, Magnolia’s VP of Public Relations and Partnerships, partnering with Incredibles is an ideal fit for their confectionary expansion into the world of cannabis. Gramling explains that Magnolia’s mission has always been to please palates of all types, and this partnership will help them achieve their goal.
Eli Weiner of Incredibles emphasizes that their collaboration with Magnolia Bakery is about crafting an experience as delightful as dependable. “Our aim is to deliver wonder, not worry,” says Weiner. The partnership, he suggests, is a natural one, blending Magnolia’s reputation for classic, comforting desserts with incredibles’ commitment to quality in the cannabis edibles market. It’s a joint effort poised to stir the pot in the best way, merging the expertise of two leaders in their fields to serve up products that are both innovative and familiar, a true “recipe for success.”
The collaboration introduces two signature bars: the “Swirled Famous Banana Pudding” bar, blending the familiar flavors of vanilla, cookie crunch, and banana with a cannabis kick, and the “Red Velvet Piece Ahhh Cake” bar, which combines the rich taste of red velvet with a harmonious mix of THC and CBD. Each piece is precisely dosed to ensure a consistent and enjoyable experience. These new edibles will be available at GTI’s Rise Dispensaries located in Illinois, Nevada, and Massachusetts.
Magnolia’s dive into the cannabis space is a bold move that respects the evolving desires of their customer base while offering a nod to the bakery’s innovative spirit. As Magnolia continues to evolve since its West Village beginnings in 1996, this new chapter promises to blend the beloved and the novel in a way that only Magnolia can.
