Terpometer Review: A Must-Have Gadget For Pro Dabbing

Nailing your dabbing temperature can help you elevate your sessions and get the most out of your concentrates. The Terpometer is just the tool you need for that.

You’re a dabber or perhaps you’re starting to think about the possibility of becoming one, and you want to perfect your setup for mad rips. Well, maybe you need to know what tools you’re going to need, and I want us to take a look at one of the most sophisticated pieces of tech. You are going to want to stick around for this review of The Terpometer.

Dabbers have a whole selection of gadgets, devices, and paraphernalia for their sessions, and if they truly want to elevate and control the experience, they need to know what temperature their rig is at. This will guarantee clean, rich, precise burns that will leave you high AF.

The Terpometer is a nifty tool-slash-gadget that will precisely read the temperature of your rig with one end and display it on a cool LCD screen. Then, you’ll be able to flip it over to be used as a dab tool for your sesh. Why the hell does that sound so dope?

What Is The Terpometer?

Let us begin by stating that The Terpometer is the world’s first dabbin’ tool with a built-in thermometer. If that does not sound exciting, I don’t really know if you just rather fumble around with your different gadgets and tools, or if you’re not picking up what I’m talking about yet.

This device is made for your convenience and to take your user experience to the next level by giving you useful intel that will help you precisely control your dabs. The device is rechargeable and has a great battery capacity, which will last you a couple of sessions before needing power.

Design and Looks

This patented tool is well designed, and although some might find it simple or lackluster, I honestly find its looks and feel absolutely amazing. I am a huge fan of simplicity over unnecessary bling, and the matte black finish on this bad boy is just stunning to me. The body is well built, and both ends have a sturdy and reliable feel.

The comfort and ergonomic design make this tool a great working gadget that is easy to use and practical at the same time. The centerpiece has a perfect weight and girth for you to comfortably grab it, use it to measure your temperature, then rotate it, and hit your meanest dab.

The body of The Terpometer has an RGB LCD screen that will read the temperature of your rig and display a color to let you know if you’re at the ideal conditions to blaze. You’re going to both get a number and a color-coded signal, showing you green if you’re in the ideal range, red if you’re burnin’ too hot, and blue if you need more fire.

Some have criticized this mean tool, stating it may resemble a meat thermometer, but it seems to me that those have absolutely no idea what one of those looks like. I’m a cook, and I have been around plenty of meat thermometers, none of which look anything like The Terpometer, aside from that, this is not a probe thermometer, but a thermocouple sensor.

Another amazing feature is that you can swap the tool end to accommodate your needs with several different accessories this brand has. The different tools are sold separately and will screw in easily at the tool end of the body.

Why Would I Need The Terpometer?

Many users might already feel confident and comfortable using an infrared thermometer to measure their temperatures and then grab their tool to dab. Why not cut one of those processes in half? By using the same tool for both uses, and with far higher precision than using that handheld laser gun thermometer that mechanics and cooks use, you’ll be dabbing quicker and better.

This tool is designed specifically for dabbing, so it must definitely mean that it will perform and excel at this task, instead of having to use a universal tool and have so many things in your hands you’ll be left waiting longer to take that hit, or worse, you might even break something while juggling a miniature ray gun and the tool for dabbing.

A very important and key factor for saying that The Terpometer might just be the best solution to temperature control and precision is that you will definitely stop damaging or cracking your tools and banger. If you no longer over-heat any of your accessories, you will see them last longer and have no casualties out on the battlefield.

There are also immense health and safety benefits because a dab too hot has been associated to have an increase in the risk of cancer or pesky, harsh side effects. Also, a dab that is too cold will see you misuse your produce, which probably means you’re not getting your whole buck out of the material.

You not only want The Terpometer, but you also need it! Come on, I really find this opportunity to have the best dab session a golden one, you will not regret incorporating this tool in your dabbing experiences.

How Do I Use The Terpometer?

Let’s remember this tool has primarily two uses or functions. The first, and maybe most important, is the temperature measuring function that will give you complete control over the precision of your dab. Second, the tool itself, which will allow you to comfortably and conveniently use the same hand for temperature taking and concentrate scooping.

First, you have to turn on the power! Press the power button three times to turn on the device, after that you’re good to go.  Place the thermocouple end of The Terpometer onto the surface that is being heated, this tool works great with all types and materials in the market.

Then, wait for the temperature number on the LCD display to stabilize, you will be able to see when the optimal conditions for hitting that dab are set. If the final temperature is too hot or too cold, allow the nail to cool down or continue heating it, just work your way to perfection. Once the temperature is in the green zone, use the dab tool end to apply your dab to the nail.

This is a really easy process, and remember you’ll have a hand free for whatever adjustment you need to make!

Terpometer Performance

You have probably been using an infrared thermometer to measure your nail’s temperature, but this is a superior option. We have already stated how convenient and easy to use it is, so in reality, we want to know how well it performs.

In terms of accuracy, The Terpometer has an advantage due to the type of thermal sensor it uses, instead of pointing a laser gun at a surface, you slightly touch it with a coil end that will precisely determine what temperature the bowl has.

Both devices feature an LCD screen, but the IR thermometer gun possibly does not have a backlight and does not show you the green color indicating you are at the perfect moment to dab. In that regard, The Terpometer also outperforms the conventional thermometer.

Last, I’m just going to repeat this again, with the same hand you rotate the device, once you get the practice you can do this like a drummer with their drumsticks, and simply dab! So if you’re not saving a good thirty seconds of temperature change and hassle, you’re lightning fast.

Let’s Compare With The Closest Thing Out There: The ODT Temp Reader

Both these devices are meant for reading the temperature of your rigs, but the ODT Pocket Temperature Gauge does not have the same features this bad boy packs, and honestly looks less durable and fancy than our Terpometer.

I’ve already decided on the superiority of The Terpometer over the ODT, but I want to tell you why. The ODT is a great device, you put it under your bowl and it will read the temperature and beep for you, but you still need to use a tool. So again, let’s cut the middleman and use the tool that can quickly and effectively make you dab like a god.

I much rather spend virtually the same amount of money on a Terpometer that looks, feels, and performs amazingly, that get a 3D printed case with basic components that, although does the deed and gives you a hands-free experience, does not look as durable and well designed as The Terpometer.
