Their 9” Upright Bubbler has a sealed-in diffusor chamber that works great to give you more volume and better smoke.

Without further ado, let’s check what GRAV has to offer with the Upright Large Bubbler, its features, and if it’s worth your cash.

Let’s dive into this beauty. The GRAV Upright Bubbler is a large 9” tall baby made on 50 mm tubing. Its powerful fission downstem helps to diffuse smoke through water and is fixed inside the bubbler to prevent any damage.

The mouthpiece of this bubbler is jointed to the body and sealed in, maximizing the pipe’s internal volume to get more smoke. The mouthpiece is at an angle and acts as a splashguard, and the lip wrap is tooled for comfort.

GRAV’s high-quality borosilicate glass is also present on this bubbler. So you know this device is made to last for many smoking sessions with continuous care. It comes with a 14 mm bowl to smoke your favorite flower and get the most out of its flavor profile with a smooth smoke.

This is where GRAV’s design shines through. At first glance, you’ll find GRAV’s iconic logo in the main body of the bubbler. It has a broad base that gives the bubbler super high stability, so don’t be afraid to pass it over in a smoking sesh.

Both the chamber, diffusor, and mouthpiece are sealed onto the body of the bubbler, so everything stays in place. The angular design on the mouthpiece is great to hold the bubbler better, and it is pretty much ergonomic when you are using it, as it’s made to stay at your face level.

Smoking-wise, you’ll get lots of nice aesthetics. The diffusor works great and gives you lots of bubbles with each hit, making a charming view while smoking.

And by having the chamber on top instead of on the side makes it easier to control de the lighter and use the glassware a lot easier than other bubblers.

The GRAV Upright Bubbler is pretty easy to use. Just fill about 1/4th of the internal water chamber by the mouthpiece.

Once that’s done, take the herb chamber off, pack it with your favorite dry herb, and you are good to go! Light your herb up and take a few hits out of your herb.

The thing I actually love from this design is that it keeps fire away from your face each time you light it up, and the smoke comes out smoothly, so don’t be afraid to give some stronger pulls.

As with all glassware, you’ll have to clean the bubbler to keep it good as new. The first step is to let it cool down and give it quick warm water and soap rinse.

We don’t recommend using chemical cleaners to get the gunk out of your pipes or bubblers, so use a vinegar-water or alcohol and salt bath first.

If your bubbler has some tough-to-get-out gunks, just let it take a soak on the vinegar and water mix for at least an hour before giving it a second rinse. You can also try cleaning the hard parts with some isopropyl alcohol and let it air dry. 

Is your bubbler still nasty?

Try the alcohol and salt mix once again and let it soak for at least an hour or in worst cases, overnight. This bubbler is a lot easier to clean though, so I’d only recommend longer soaks once per month or so.

• One of the things I love about GRAV is that they are so easy to use and clean. Easy to use and clean. No need for weird chemicals.
• Broad base and angular mouthpiece. These are two things I actually love about this particular design. Having a wider base for a bubbler makes it really simple to pass around and stable. The angular mouthpiece will keep away the fire from your face and give more volume, which means more and better quality smoke.
• The incredible price point for design and quality. At a $99.99 price point, you won’t get a glassware device that works as well, is durable, and gets you splash-free smoke every time.

• Not very discreet. This is one of the biggest bubblers from GRAV, so it is pretty noticeable. If you want something a little more discreet, you might want to look at a hitter or smaller pipe.
• As with most glassware, this device required cleaning and maintenance. So if you were into something that needed no cleaning, you might be better off with a 510 cartridge or disposable vape pen. Or even a herb vaporizer!
