Need a THC tolerance hack? Our guide has got you covered.
Well, every smoker needs a hack for when their weed tolerance gets too high. We’ve all been there as smokers, where we are chewing through a bag of green like candy because we’ve become too tolerant. But smokers should have no fear because we have some hacks for you to help combat your weed tolerance.
Bringing your tolerance down can require some changes to your smoking routine, but it doesn’t have to involve stopping altogether.
Here are some tips on how to get high with high tolerance to weed.
Weed tolerance too high?
The more your body adapts to THC, the active compound in cannabis, the greater its tolerance for weed becomes.
Over time, regular use causes the brain’s cannabinoid receptors to become less responsive to THC, meaning you need more of it to achieve the same effects.
This happens because the receptors downregulate or decrease in number, reducing the high’s intensity.
Additionally, factors like genetics, frequency of use, and potency of the cannabis contribute to how quickly tolerance builds. Taking breaks from cannabis, known as tolerance breaks, can help reset these receptors, allowing users to experience the desired effects with lower doses again.
Nevertheless, sometimes a T-break isn’t what you’re in store for.

If you want to know how to get super high with a tolerance to weed, try dabbing.
Dabs pack a punch because they’re super concentrated with THC. If your tolerance is high, dabs can still get you where you want to be by delivering a much stronger hit than regular weed. The extra THC in dabs can push past your tolerance and give you that intense high you’re after, even if your usual go-to doesn’t do the trick anymore.

If you rather turn to the other side of the spectrum and cut your weed consumption, then using smaller rolling papers may help you reach your goal.
Rolling paper sizes can be deceiving. Rolling just one paper can have you smoking upwards of one gram of weed! Opting for smaller papers makes sure a smaller amount of weed is used and, thus, smoked. This works especially well if you’re the kind of person who likes to smoke throughout the day – you’ll be cutting down your consumption to fix your tolerance in no time.

A hitter, or chillum, is a small pipe that fits just enough for one hit. These make it easy to step around the corner and discretely sneak in your afternoon smoke. They also don’t accommodate for much of your green, because they only fit one hit!
This also means you won´t have to carry around your bag of weed (which makes it tempting to smoke more). You can pack your hitter, put it in your pocket, and be on your way.

If you are smoking all day, chances are you aren’t getting any higher. You are just building your tolerance while remaining stoned. At some point your high plateaus and you’re simply wasting weed.
If the weed you’re smoking is top quality, you should be able to smoke once in the morning, at lunch, and then again early evening – and still remain high for the most part of the day.
But, if your weed is lower quality, then you’ll feel burnt out quicker and more inclined to smoke more throughout the day to top yourself up.

Ok, so this is the one most of you probably don´t want to read. But it´s the most effective hack for combating your tolerance. Cut back altogether – just for a week or two. The first smoke you have after your tolerance break will be like the first time you smoked, and you’ll be tripping!
