With an 80-acre cannabis playground, Jim Belushi has enough medicine to last a lifetime. Belushi’s Farm was created as a gateway to healing—the actor/farmer’s brother, the late John Belushi, passed away due to a drug overdose in 1982. Jim believes that had he been a weed smoker, he’d still be around today.
The farm started growing cannabis almost out of the blue. Jim purchased a stunning property near the Rogue River in Southern Oregon and thought, what the hell should I grow on 80 acres of beautiful land?
“Now I have 4 light deprivation greenhouses and produce 1600 pounds a year, and we are expanding into other states,” he tells Herb.
His newfound joy of growing cannabis has opened his heart and eyes with compassion to anyone struggling, be it from PTSD, joint pain, cancer, or seizures. This is his passion project, and Belushi’s Farm is changing the world one plant at a time.
Without a doubt, Belushi has become one of the best cannabis growers and famous weed growers our canna-community has seen.
