Maximize Your High With These Quick Tips

Not getting as high as you'd like to be? See Herb's tips on how to maximize your high.

You deserve to be as high as you want to be. Unfortunately, there are far too many products on the market that don’t produce your desired effects. Even when you find something of use, building a tolerance for it is way too easy.

Whether your tolerance is high or you haven’t found your preferred consumption method, we’ll help you get as high as possible. It could be as simple as switching up your smoking routine or using a product that brings out the best in your herb.

See below for more information and tips on how to maximize your high.

Try Concentrates And Oils

Marijuana concentrates have been around for a long time, usually in the form of kief or hash. They are also referred to as shatter, wax, or oil.

These products are made by using a solvent, usually, butane or CO2, that isolates the essential oils, cannabinoids, and terpenes to create a concentrated mass of cannabis.

It should go without saying that concentrates are much stronger than dried flower; hence the name cannabis concentrates. Use a dab rig or sprinkle some wax in a joint or overtop of a bowl for maximum effects.

Mix CBG Bud With THC Bud

Photo by contentdealer / Adobe Stock Photo

Cannabigerol, or CBG, is a new cannabinoid making a name for itself due to its unique properties. It’s similar to CBD in delivering mind and body-soothing effects but does not come with any associated drowsiness.

Instead, CBG acts as an energy booster, helping you focus and be productive throughout the day. It’s something you can pair with your morning cup of coffee and smoke all day long without feeling tired or sleepy.

When combined with THC, CBG can enhance and complement the effects of THC and make for a well-balanced, invigorating high. This does not only improve your high, but it also makes your weed last longer.

Since it isn’t psychoactive, CBG can be sold in all 50 states. If you want the best CBG bud out there, then look no further than Botany Farms’ Delta-8 Lemon Diesel CBG Flower, which already mixes Delta-8 THC and CBG. The job is done for you.

Buy Marijuana With High Levels Of THC

This may seem like a no-brainer to some of you, but it really works. If you have access to a dispensary, read the labels on the different strains offered and see which ones are strongest.

Oftentimes, dispensaries and brands will label the THC and CBD percentages on the product packaging. In most cases, the average THC content in cannabis flower is 15-20%. That’s almost laughable to someone who uses it every day.

Be sure to examine the product packaging before purchasing to ensure you’re buying a product that will get you high. For seasoned users, we suggest THC levels of 24% and higher.

Use A KLIP Grinder

Meet the KLIP, a grinder that makes your weed stronger. This Danish-designed device is grinding reimagined.

Most grinders end up mashing your herb with their teeth, resulting in clogged screens and hard-to-turn lids. The KLIP, using patent-pending technology, slices through your herb without mashing or clogging it while keeping all of its trichomes intact.

The result is a potent, fluffy, fine herb. The KLIP is made from anodized, recyclable aluminum, and its four pieces stick together with rare earth magnets that reduce friction, ease the grinding process, and make it super easy to use and clean.

Try Eating Mangoes Or Other Myrcene Rich Fruits

We talked about why mangoes can maximize your high recently, but in case you missed it—mangoes work.

Mangoes are rich in myrcene, the terpene that gives them their smell. It’s also one of the main terpenes present in cannabis flowers. Eating very ripe mangoes before smoking marijuana will help your endocannabinoid system to absorb extra THC, maximizing your high.

Try Edibles

When smoking marijuana, the THC goes straight to your brain, giving you an immediate and relatively short-lasting high.

When you ingest marijuana edibles, the THC is processed through the liver and converted to 11-hydroxy-THC, a metabolite that is quite good at crossing the blood-brain barrier.

The high from edibles is felt more in the body and less in the head. Also, because your body takes longer to digest, it releases THC over a longer period of time, thus maximizing the length of your high.

Most people think edible making is a complicated process, but thanks to Ardent, it no longer has to. The Ardent FX is an all-in-one cannabis kitchen that can decarboxylate, infuse, and bake your edibles in the same machine.

You don’t need any experience or skill. Just add your ingredients, turn it on, and wait for your perfect edibles.

Exercise After Smoking

Studies have shown that the “runner’s high” is not a result of endorphins but is actually caused by the endocannabinoid system.

Your body releases cannabinoids in order to help you cope with stress and other bodily functions. Smoking before exercising will give you an extra dose of naturally occurring cannabinoids to maximize your high.

Try A T-Break

This is probably the hardest way to maximize your high. If marijuana has become an integral part of your routine, you won’t want to say goodbye for too long.

Don’t worry; even a few days off smoking will give your body a chance to clean out some lingering THC. When you return to your precious flower, you will reach a new maximum high you haven’t felt in a long time.

Taking a break from smoking is probably the most effective way to maximize your future highs. Although challenging, it can be done. Be sure to try the other methods above before you decide to go cold turkey.
