No matter your skill level when it comes to rolling, you’ll find that rolling a vortex blunt is a breeze. Not to mention that it’s much easier to roll than a regular blunt.
Let’s start at the beginning, what is a vortex blunt?
Basically, it is a blunt with a hole in the center that may remind you of a long thin donut. Why? Vortex blunts are known for having a smoother draw and offering larger puffs. How is it made? Let’s get to it.
The easiest option is for you to buy a vortex wrapper, which comes ready to go.
But if you are more of a do-it-yourself type, you will need:
Rolling paper
A long, thin stick
Your favorite weed
Rolling tray
Now let’s go step by step on how to roll a Vortex Blunt.
Step 1. Grind Your Weed: The first thing is to get your weed ready to make it work.
Step 2. Prepare Your Wrapper: If you have purchased rolling papers, get them ready. If you are rolling a cigar, use a razor blade to cut the cigar lengthwise and empty the tobacco. Put the long stick in the center, but don’t put too much pressure on it.
Step 3. Fill It With Weed: For best results, spread the weed (if you add kief, all the better) evenly on both sides. Be sure to tuck in one side while working on the other. Be sure to place the weed around and under the cane. Make sure the cane is centered.
Step 4. Roll: Roll the wrap between your fingers to form a cylinder. You can use the rod as a support. Roll it tightly, trying to keep the cane centered.
Step 5. Sealing: Lick and seal the wrapper. Before finishing, lick the remaining edges to keep everything intact. Once you’re done, take out the stick, cut the side, light that baby, and enjoy. Let it dry. Don’t skip this step.
Step 6. Drying: Once dry, gently remove the stick from the wrapper.
Voila! You should have a nice donut shape in your hollow blunt. But don’t be afraid if you don’t get it right the first time. Practice makes perfect.

A front leaf joint is a more traditional method of rolling joints, originating in Jamaica and the Caribbean islands.
You may have heard of “grabba” or “fanta,” nicknames for this particular tobacco leaf used for rolling cannabis.
These leaves offer a potent smoke, with a heady tobacco high that is often stronger than that of a regular joint. Plus, they are not as expensive as backwoods or others sold in stores.
When you’re ready to roll a front leaf joint, here’s the rundown. It’s a very simple process if you know how to roll regular joints and joints.
Grab a regular rolling paper, your fronto leaf, a pair of scissors, and your ground-up weed.
Take a rolling paper and place it on top of the fronto leaf. Cut the fronto sheet the same size as the rolling paper. Cut along the veins of the leaf for a stronger roll.
Make sure the sheet stays moist and pliable by breathing on it or licking it.
Take your rectangular fronto leaf and fold it in half like rolling paper, then place your ground herb on the leaf.
Roll it up as tightly as possible, tucking the leaf around the herb.
To seal it, place the fronto leaf with the herb inside a rolling paper. Seal the joint by rolling the paper around the herb-filled leaf and licking the adhesive to seal it.
Light and enjoy.
