A holiday traditionally held on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Danksgiving can really be celebrated throughout the entire week if planned accordingly. Starting with Tuesday, gather all the supplies; food, weed, drinks, edibles, vegetables, concentrates, desserts, vape cartridges, and so much more.
Wednesday, when most people start the meal prepping – if you plan on having infused meals, this is where the infusing part happens. It’s best to let some foods sit for at least 24hrs before cooking. A turkey would depend on the weight and massive amount of weed needed to make an infused turkey.
Thursday, spark up, pop those gummies, and dive into all the infused food. Followed by Friday, get even more baked, and start dogging those leftovers.
Danksgiving is a loving time to give thanks for man’s ability to fuck himself up with nature’s gift.
Many traditional Danksgiving meals are prepared. They often include some Thanksgiving foods but with cannabis and/or alcohol included. Pot brownies, potatoes with cannabutter, cranberry jello shots, vodkamelons, and of course, the Danksgiving Turkey are cooked. Then they’re all consumed at once during the Danksgiving Feast.
Other traditions include getting stupid high and eating everything in front of you. Then, maybe take a nap, smoke some more, eat a little more, and repeat until your pants don’t fit.
What would Danksgiving be without an edible turkey? Now that cannabis is legal recreationally, it’s possible to infuse the centerpiece of any meal with a delightful cannabis high. The turkey itself is challenging to make “edible,” but all of its associated trimmings can be imbued with the power of cannabis to create a buzzy meal.
Before digging into any of the recipes below, always remember to use caution and good judgment when dosing. Tolerance to THC varies from person to person, but patience is always recommended in between servings of infused food and drink to avoid an uncomfortable high.
