This trailblazing dispensary and its mystical atmosphere is not one to forget.
Malibu’s most popular cannabis retailer, 99 High Tide Collective, offers more than quality strains but an overall tranquil mermaid-haven vibe that drenches the interior in an unforgettable ambiance.
Their divine sculptures and CBD products are enhanced by atmospheric candles, jewelry, seashells, crystals, and local artists’ paintings. The collective also offers a massage table for needed meditative escapes and complementary healing sessions before patients enter the medicine room, where cannabis consultants await to greet them.

Yvonne DeLaRosa, the owner of 99 High Tide, selected the theme, slow-moving blue lights, nature photography, and atmospheric music “to feel like a mermaid’s cove, like a sanctuary,” and to maintain a “sexual and sensual mermaid healing vibe that appeals to all.”
99 High Tide was previously 99 High Art, a Venice-based establishment that opened in 1998. 99 High Tide’s original chalkboard, one of the few remaining traces of 99 High Art, welcomes patients before meeting its budtenders.
They also rotate flower options daily, which include a sun-grown, outdoor, greenhouse, and indoor varieties. They’re also known for their exclusive Coconut Kush, handed down to owners by master pot grower Rich “Shiva” Shiraz. 99 High Tide’s medicine is all organic and carefully chosen by seasoned cannabis consultants.

99 High Tide was the first establishment to be granted a cannabis business license in Los Angeles County, making Yvonne the first woman to receive a license to sell cannabis in L.A. County. The upscale, hybrid, and all-vegan dispensary plans on extending its therapy services, providing a healthy array of CBD-rich products, and intends to become the world’s first CBD spa.
