Brat Berry Strain THCa Flower – Living Soil Exotic AAA

Brat Berry Strain THCa Flower — Living Soil Exotic AAA

#1 Reviewer’s Pick

The summer of 2023, Charli XCX released Brat — lime green, unapologetic, loud about being exactly what it is. This strain carries the same energy: sweet berry upfront, earthy OG Kush underneath, and bright enough to fill a room before you finish opening the jar.

Blueberry x OG Kush is the cross, and the interesting part is what happens in the middle. Most crosses between these two parents pick a winner — you get either a slightly gassy berry or a slightly fruity gas. Brat Berry lands in the specific space where both parents are audible simultaneously. DJ Short’s Blueberry brings the Thai and Afghan three-way heritage, and with it a full, linalool-forward berry sweetness that arrives first and stays. The OG Kush earthy pine depth comes up underneath it rather than replacing it. Two notes coexisting rather than one chasing the other off the palate.

Visually it follows the name: deep forest green with purple undertones from the Blueberry genetics, orange pistils, a milky trichome coating that reflects the OG Kush resin architecture. Dense, sticky, and the kind of bud that photographs correctly because the coloration and frost are products of the genetics rather than clever lighting.

Living soil amplifies the DJ Short Blueberry side specifically — mycorrhizal activity in the root zone increases linalool accumulation, which means the berry character here is louder and more persistent than in any synthetically grown version of this cross. The OG Kush depth is consistent in any cultivation method. The berry is what the living soil is doing.
