1971 in San Rafael, California is the place where it all began. Every day five friends known as The Waldos would meet at 4:20 p.m. by a statue of the famous French biologist Louis Pasteur to an elusive crop of cannabis. Their legend inspired the Grateful Dead, who broadcast to counter-culture at large. Through the quality slow-cured strains of San Rafael’ 71, the spirit of adventure lives on.
