
Gabrielle Korein is a New York–based writer, visual journalist, and Creative & Social Intern at Herb. With a background spanning editorial journalism, photography, and digital storytelling, they bring a multidisciplinary approach to creating compelling, culture-driven content. Gabrielle earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Loyola University New Orleans before going on to receive a master’s degree in Journalism from New York University. Over the course of their career, Gabrielle has contributed to a range of publications, from respected local outlets such as Gambit Weekly and 225 Magazine to national and global platforms including NBC News. Their reporting and creative work focus on telling impactful stories through both written and visual media, blending strong editorial instincts with an eye for authentic, engaging imagery. In addition to their journalism experience, Gabrielle has worked as a freelance photographer for more than 11 years, collaborating with major brands, artists, and companies including Red Bull, BAPE, Def Jam, Jameson, and Sluggers. Their photography work spans live events, music, lifestyle, and fashion editorial, helping clients capture moments with a distinctive creative perspective. Outside of their professional work, Gabrielle is an avid traveler, animal lover, and passionate crafter who enjoys exploring new places, creative projects, and experiences that continue to inspire their storytelling.
